Electric gate valve
(1) When the fluid flows through the gate valve, the flow direction is not changed. When the gate valve is fully opened, the resistance coefficient is almost the smallest among all electric valves, and the applicable caliber range, pressure and temperature range are very wide. Compared with the stop valve of the same caliber, its installation size is smaller, so it is the most used type in chemical production equipment. (2) There are two types of electric gate valve handles: clear rod and dark rod: the open rod gate valve is particularly advantageous when it is used for the alternate switching of two or more sets of the same equipment. The open rod can clearly indicate the switching status of the electric valve. (3) When the gate valve is half-open, the valve core is prone to vibration, so the gate valve is only suitable for fully open or fully closed situations, not suitable for occasions that require flow adjustment. (4) There are grooves in the gate valve body, so it is not suitable for fluids containing solid particles. In recent years, a gate valve with a blowing port can be applied to this situation. Electric shut-off valve (1) is a valve type widely used in chemical plants. Its sealing performance is reliable, and it is also suitable for flow adjustment. It is usually installed at the pump outlet, upstream of the regulating valve bypass flowmeter and other places where the flow needs to be adjusted. (2) When the fluid flows through the valve core, the flow direction is changed, so the pressure drop is large, and the solid matter is easy to deposit on the valve seat, so it is not suitable for suspension. (3) Compared with gate valves of the same caliber, the globe valve has a larger volume, which limits its maximum caliber (maximum DN150~200). (4) Compared with ordinary straight-way valves, Y-type globe valves and angle-type globe valves have a smaller pressure drop, and the angle-type valves have the function of changing the flow direction. (5) The needle valve is also a kind of shut-off valve. Its spool is tapered and can be used for small flow fine adjustment or as a sampling valve. The cock, plunger valve, and electric ball valve (1) have similar functions and are electric valves that can be opened and closed quickly. The valve core has horizontal openings, and the liquid passes through in a direct flow, and the pressure drop is small. It is suitable for suspension or viscous liquid. The spool can be made into an upper or D-shaped channel to become a three-way or four-way valve. With regular appearance, it is easy to make jacketed valves for heat preservation. These types of valves can be made into pneumatic or electric valves for remote control. (2) The difference between the three is the plunger valve, and the working pressure of the ball valve is slightly higher. The electric butterfly valve has a certain adjustment function, which is especially suitable for large flow adjustment. The use temperature is limited by the sealing material. Check valve (1) A check valve is a valve used to prevent reverse flow of fluid. Generally used to prevent pollution, temperature rise or mechanical damage caused by fluid backflow. (2) There are three commonly used types: swing type, lift type and ball type. The swing type has a larger diameter than the latter two, and can be installed on a horizontal pipe or a vertical pipe. When installed on a vertical pipe, the fluid should flow from bottom to top. Lifting type and ball type have smaller calibers and can only be installed on horizontal pipelines. (3) The check valve can only be used to prevent sudden backflow but the sealing performance is not good. Therefore, other measures should be taken for materials that are strictly forbidden to be mixed. (4) When the inlet of the centrifugal pump is sucked up, the bottom valve installed at the inlet pipe end to keep the liquid in the pump is also a check valve. When the container is open, the bottom valve can be equipped with a strainer. When these two types of valves are used, the fluid only contacts the diaphragm or hose without touching other parts of the valve body. They are especially suitable for corrosive fluids or viscous liquids, suspensions, etc. However, the scope of application is limited by the material of the diaphragm or hose.
